Serene Color is an iOS application published by Environ Design Studio Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Perth, Western Australia. This policy explains what personal information is collected when you use Serene Color, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Our approach to privacy reflects the studio’s broader practice: considered, restrained, and purposeful. We collect only what is necessary to operate the app, support advertising and subscriptions, and ensure stability and quality.

Information we collect
Serene Color is designed to be a calm, mindful experience. We do not require an account, and we do not ask you to provide personal details such as your name, email address, or date of birth in order to use the app.
The following categories of data may be collected when you use Serene Color, either directly by the app or by trusted third-party services that the app relies upon:
Device identifiers
A device-level identifier (such as the Identifier for Advertisers, where permitted) used to deliver and measure advertising.
Advertising data
Information about ads shown in the app and your interactions with them, used to provide and measure advertising and to limit ad repetition.
Coarse location
An approximate location derived from your IP address, used for advertising relevance and to comply with regional privacy requirements.
User identifier
An anonymous identifier linked to your Apple ID transaction, used solely to validate subscription status for Serene Color+.
Purchase history
Records of in-app purchases and subscription transactions, processed by Apple and used to provide access to paid features.
Crash data
Anonymous diagnostic information generated when the app encounters an error, used to identify and resolve issues.
Performance data
Anonymous metrics about app responsiveness and stability, used to maintain a smooth user experience.

How information is used
Information collected through Serene Color is used only for the purposes described below:

Third-party services
Serene Color uses a small number of carefully chosen third-party services to support advertising, subscription processing, and consent management.
Google AdMob
Advertising in the free tier of Serene Color is delivered through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect a device identifier, advertising interaction data, and approximate location to deliver and measure ads. Review Google’s practices at policies.google.com/privacy, and manage advertising preferences at adssettings.google.com.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
To meet regional consent requirements, Serene Color presents a consent form managed through Google’s User Messaging Platform. Your consent choices are stored on your device and shared with advertising partners as you direct.
Apple App Store and StoreKit
In-app purchases and subscriptions for Serene Color+ are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles all payment information; the studio does not see or store your payment details. Apple’s privacy practices are described at apple.com/legal/privacy.

App Tracking Transparency
On supported versions of iOS, Serene Color uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework to request your permission before allowing advertising partners to use your device’s advertising identifier for tracking across apps and websites.
You may grant or decline this permission, and you may change your decision at any time from Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on your device. If you decline, you will still see advertising in the free tier, but it will be less personalised.

Children’s privacy
Serene Color is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

Data retention
Because Serene Color does not require an account, we do not hold a profile of personal information about you in our systems. Diagnostic and advertising data handled by our third-party services is retained according to those services’ own retention policies.
Your colouring work is saved locally on your device. You may delete it at any time by removing the app or clearing its data through iOS.

International transfers
Environ Design Studio Pty Ltd is based in Australia. Some of the third-party services we use, including Google and Apple, operate globally and may process information in countries other than the one in which you are located. Where this occurs, those providers are responsible for maintaining appropriate safeguards as described in their own privacy policies.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights in relation to the personal information processed in connection with Serene Color.
Australia
Your information is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You may contact us with any privacy concern or complaint, and if you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may exercise rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.
